Letter from Hyatt Commercial’s Sr. Vice Presidents

May 14th, 2020

We hope you and yours are doing well and are beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel. The past few weeks and months have allowed time for self-reflection and earnest business planning to prepare for what is certain to be a new business landscape. As stewards of Hyatt Commercial we feel it is important to keep our clients, friends, family, and community aware of our recent successes, growth, and services for the future.

Lou Hyatt founded the Company in 1961 and Hyatt Commercial has been serving clients for nearly 60 years.  We have ushered clients through recessions, war time, the great recession, and currently through the Pandemic of 2020.  Hyatt Commercial has done this by establishing lifelong relationships with our clients and by providing industry leading services.  Clients stick with Hyatt Commercial for generations working through the good times and through the challenging times. Upgrades to our technology and marketing over the last few years have allowed us to build upon the foundation established by Lou Hyatt and to expand our footprint and services in markets well beyond our Annapolis Headquarters.

It is hard to imagine that it was only 4 months ago that Hyatt Commercial was celebrating a banner year of 2019.  Hyatt’s Brokerage team continued our growth by adding 2 excellent agents in Joe Cinosky and Birdi Brown.  Joe and Birdi joined a team of diverse, energetic, and highly committed agents in John Sindler, Bill Greenfield, Judith Neighoff, Eric Noonan, John Gallagher, George Shenas, Cecil Cummins, and Justin Mullen.  In 2019 Our Brokerage team completed hundreds of transactions consulting with and assisting clients in leasing office / retail / warehouse space, selling of commercial buildings and properties, development of land, repositioning and maximization of value for investment assets, and many other commercial real estate transactions.

The property Management team grew in 2019 as well by adding a highly experienced Property Manager, Holly Alexander, and securing new management projects like 1730 West Street, a Medical Office Building located in Annapolis, MD and Pointer Ridge Condominiums located in Bowie, MD.  The construction management team had another successful year with the completion of the new Starbucks on Kent Island as well as numerous tenant fit outs for our clients.

The days and months ahead will no doubt prove challenging and rewarding and we look forward to strengthening our relationship with each and every one of you reading this letter. If you have yet to work with Hyatt Commercial we ask that you give us a call and learn more about the ways we can help you achieve your goals and ambitions through our commercial real estate services.

From the “Corridor” to “The Shore”, The Market House to Merriweather, the boardroom to the boatyard, Hyatt Commercial is here to help the businesses of Maryland reopen and prosper.
